about

I first made 'Water Music' at home in Sausalito in the Summer of 1989.

This was long after I gave up music for a life in academia, and I made it purely for my own enjoyment.

I had no intention of releasing it, and in fact I forgot that it existed until a couple of weeks ago, when I was looking through some of the old four-track tapes in my archive.

A range of digital plugins helped me remove some of the tape hiss and give it the celestial treatment I couldn't achieve with the somewhat primitive equipment I was using thirty years ago.

I hope you enjoy it.
